jergon sacha [shipibo for big / wild / jungle snake] said to me “i am teaching your body to relax. it will be uncomfortable at first because you have never done that. youll get used to it. keep relaxing.”

i spent 10 days in the amazon jungle in prayer.. cleaning my body so i could learn to live comfortably as a human. i drank almost a gallón of JS a day and ate very little food. we drank aya every othernight.

to say i am slowly emerging from dieta with a shaman from the shipibo tribe really means..

i am coming back to this earthly reality after 10 days under shamanic surgery with 3 very strong plants, aya, and a doctor of the soul operating on me.

in these photos and almost the entire 10 days i was exhausted. i was irritable / sad / confused / overwhelemed. i was getting vivid psychic visions since before arriving. í was in deep prayer. i felt my life changing and magic .. REAL magic .. moving through me every moment. white magic healing me. the plants healing me.

everynight i was afraid to sleep in my cabaña on the edge of the jungle alone. spirits came to visit often.. or never left me alone im not sure... the jungle loves me so much she wants to keep me. i was terrified. i am learning what it means to find my light in the face of the darkest darkness. arent we all?

there was very little sleep and a lot of medicine.. not just aya. these plants, man. nature is amazing and communicating. you should google shipibo dieta if you are curious my protocol.

i head into the jungle in a couple days to do my own work now. i think it’s going to be pretty hard and intense but.. you never know. i would love some space to fall apart at the hands of healers i trust. i’m looking forward to doing what yall do when you come work with me..

the call to be silent and alone has been alive for weeks now in preperation for my dieta. taking a break from social media to prepare .. popping back on to post this photo.. leaving again once i post this.. has been amazing for me. it always is.

the world lives in the life we live. don’t forget to look up. put the phone down — our life is in our hands.. it is simple, magical, abundant, forgiving, peaceful.

i wrote this song while spending time on a cacao farm in colombia over the winter. this is just a little snippet.. of a song about finding the flower within my heart and choosing to call it to bloom..

this video is the end of a bridge where i call upon the hummingbird to be with me as i learn to love (colibrí… bri briiii)

the close of the song translates to flower of love, flower that lives inside, flower of light, flower of peace, flower that lives in my heart.. flower of god

I return to the jungle in april for my first ever dieta.. an intense and meaningful process of focus, isolation, deep cleaning and shamanic studies with the Shipibo tribe.

After the jungle i will spend a week traveling Peru to source wares to bring back to the states. I loooooooove bringing yall back goodies and supporting local artists this way.

Everytime i go to the jungle and study it costs between 3-5k depending on where i go, what i do, when i buy flights etc. The money goes directly to the tribes people, flights, the organizers of my trips, transportation, proper clothing (jungle clothes is DIFFERENT lol) and jungle gear.

I come back each time so so so well, so able to hold the space i do, and with new skills to be of service to my people. If you’ve worked with me for years you KNOW how much my work has changed since i started going to the jungle.
