about soluna medicines
prayer | art | living well
soluna translates to sunmoon in Spanish. Here we embrace the dark and the light, learning presence with all that arises. soluna medicines exists as a space for connection to Latin American indigenous wisdom through story, art, wisdom sharing, medicine work, and travel (Chanti has taken groups down to Peru, Colombia, & Guatemala). Whether you join a soluna space for a retreat, ceremony, circle, art performance, or art party.. it is all done with the intention of holistic life connection and wellness. Together we are returning to an all inclusive spiritual wholeness that explores our need to grieve, to celebrate, to create, to connect with nature, to know others, and to be known. We welcome all who are seeking freedom and harmony for the self and for all. We welcome the creative, revolutionary beings that want to participate in shifting our culture towards greater sense of wellbeing and quality of life for all.
soluna medicines came to life in the woods of Western MA in 2021 by Chantelle Castaño. soluna medicines is a community space for all who seek to explore art, earth based spirituality, health, and self-actualization. It is my hope to invite your full self forward into spaces that are conscious, ritual focused, well held, and real. soluna medicines specializes in offering spaces where you can practice holistic wellness as an individual while walking amongst community. The soluna medicines path is focused on calling forward vibrant life force through herbalism, artistic experiences, interpersonal healing, and ceremony.
soluna medicines offers holistic artist retreats, kambo + plant medicine ceremonies, travel to study with indigenous Latin American tribes, and creative art gatherings. we also have a podcast which emphasis voices of others who live by the aforementioned life philosophies.
soluna medicines at it's core is an in-person community based network.. we hope to see you. please check out Chanti on facebook or instagram for the most up to date and cohesive list of upcoming offerings.

Meet Your Guide
Hola familia, my heart feels warm thinking of all who connect to the work I offer. Soluna medicines exists in me as a living prayer. All who come work with me and my collaborators fan the embers of the flames to this altar. You keep me inspired, fulfilled, and in integrity. Thank you for being here.
My full name is Chantelle and I was given the nickname Chanti (Shanti) through medicine work and the indigenous of Colombia not being able to pronounce my name! As a 200hr vinyasa yoga teacher who has been practicing yoga since 2018 it feels right to have a name that merges my studies in Latin America with my studies of the East (Om Shanti!). I have spent many months studying buddhism and yoga in Nepal and Thailand directly with monks and the yogis of the himalayas.
I am also a curandera (Spanish for medicine woman.. Or female healer). I am the daughter of American immigrants, with a father from Medellin, Colombia and a mother from Santiago, Cuba. I began my studies with ayahuasca in August of 2020 and have been deep in learning ever since. I have spent weeks and months studying directly with the Shipibo of Peru, Siona of Colombia, and in 2026 plan to spend time with the Yawanawa of Brasil. In January 2026 I completed my first vision quest in the jungle of the andes mountains of Colombia. I also hold a bachelors degree in Psychological & Brain sciences from Boston University.
I make music and from time to time write my own songs. If you come to my ceremonies you will always hear me singing. Art creation is an important part of my personal wellness and I like to make art with others. Half of my work is medicine work as mentioned above and half is art experiences.
I have held nude body painting retreats, offered sound healing workshops, coheld an art retreat to Guatemala to work with local artists, and written + directed a ritual theatre play that was part of an art festival I organized. I am a dancer, ritualist, painter, and musician. There is no part of my world I live in where I don’t bring my creativity. Beauty is a vessel to happiness, comfort, and emotional release. I love to walk in beauty and hold beautiful spaces. I love soluna medicines and being the steward of this altar. Please reach out anytime if you’d like to talk more about how we can work together. I’m here.
Abrazos!
Chanti
